We're living a modern renaissance...here's what you need to know.

Updated: Jan 2, 2018

As we open up 2018, we've been thinking back on our journey launching Trill Tea. Something that probably couldn't have happened just 10 years earlier. We launched with money we saved up over a couple years, designers from all over the world, and ingredients and teabags from as far as Japan and Germany. (Emails to Japan at 3 am were a regular occurence) We've shipped to homes in over 45 states in America just from word of mouth. Us being self-funded allowed us to keep the vision as raw and uncut as possible. It allowed us to give talented people opportunities that they may have not gotten them otherwise. This also makes us think to all of the other things currently going on. You have 17 year olds creating world changing apps, social movements spreading at light speed due to social media, and access to more information than ever before.

Our creative director just turned 20 years old, and we're dedicated to giving more people his age opportunities to show their stuff.

You don't have to be a middle age white dude to believe you have the juice to do something. As long as you're willing to learn and try, then you're in the game. Being knowledgeable and smart isn't only now cool, but also preferred. The reason why, is because the more info you have, the more you can create. Not necessarily the education you get from school, but the information you can learn online. You can legit learn how to become a world class photographer from watching just a few Youtube videos. You can start a business from the information you picked up on a blog or find collaborators straight through the DM's on IG.

Not only are we creating, but we're creating things that are more sustainable, inclusive, and unfiltered.

There has never been a better time to create something, even if just for yourself. The info is out there if you're willing to look. Our founder, left college after half a semester and eventually launched Trill Tea.

The moral of the story is, if we can do it, so can you. We have faith in you... If you ever need any help to start something or want to collab, hit up Chaz@Trilltea.com he's always willing to chop it up with people looking to leave their mark on the world.
